Our Process
Our scaffolding process starts by understanding your project and the access required. From there, we can move towards a quotation and planning the work. As a scaffolding company in Fleet, we support projects ranging from residential property improvements to commercial and development work.
The exact requirements depend on the property, site and work involved, so the first step is to discuss your project with our team.

How Our Process Works
Step 1: Tell Us About Your Project
Get in touch and tell us what you are planning, where the project is located and the type of scaffolding you require. Provide as much information as possible to assist us with your enquiry, including measurements, any images, expected timescales and location.
We handle enquiries for domestic and commercial scaffolding alongside new build, industrial and specialist projects, scaffold hire, temporary roofs and solar access scaffolding.
Step 2: Understanding Your Requirements
Once we receive your enquiry, the next stage is understanding what the scaffolding needs to support.
Requirements can differ between home improvements, commercial properties, new developments and specialist access projects, so it’s important to know exactly what you’ll need the scaffolding for so we can correctly support you.
Step 3: Quotation and Planning
Once the requirements are understood, we can prepare a quotation based on the individual project. Some projects can be quoted without us having to visit the property, purely based on the provided information and imagery. Larger or more complex projects may require a visit to ensure your quotation is as accurate as possible.
You’ll then be able to review the proposed work and price before deciding whether to proceed. We aim to provide you with a quote within 48 hours. If a site visit is required before we can access the property, then it may take longer for us to do this.

Step 4: Scheduling the Work
Once the work is agreed, the project can move towards scheduling.
We work on shorter residential jobs as well as longer commercial and development projects, so arrangements depend on the scope and duration of the work.
We prefer clients to book scaffolding works with as much notice as possible, particularly for larger or more involved projects, as this allows us to plan our labour and vehicles properly and allocate the appropriate time for the job.
Depending on the type, size and location of the project, we can sometimes accommodate much shorter notice. We may be able to schedule smaller or straightforward jobs with as little as one week's notice, and in some circumstances even the following day, subject to availability and the requirements of the job.
Step 5: Scaffolding Installation
The agreed scaffolding is then provided for the project, whether it is supporting property maintenance, construction, a new build or a specialist access requirement. Installation times vary depending on the size, complexity, and access requirements of the project.
We understand that project requirements change. Scaffolding can often be modified during a project to better suit the new scope and to maintain safe access.
Step 6: Completion and Removal
Scaffold removal needs to be booked in with us in the same way as the initial erection, and as much notice as possible is recommended to allow us to schedule the team and vehicles.
Once the scaffold is no longer required and the removal has been agreed, our team will dismantle the scaffold progressively and safely, working from the upper levels down. The scaffold components are then loaded onto our vehicles and removed from site, with the area left clear once the work is complete.
The exact removal process and timescale will depend on the size and complexity of the scaffold and the access available on site.

FAQ
Q. How Do I Start The Scaffolding Process?
Contact us by phone, email or through the website and explain what work you are planning and where the project is located. The team can then establish the requirements and move towards a quotation.
Q. Do You Offer Emergency Scaffolding Support?Y
es. Valour Scaffolding offers a 24-hour emergency call-out service.
Q. Are Your Scaffolders Qualified?
Yes. Our team includes CISRS-trained scaffolders who work to recognised UK industry standards. We follow TG20:21 guidance, adhere to the Work at Height Regulations, and carry out structured risk assessments on every project.
Q. What Happens If Bad Weather Affects The Project?
If adverse weather conditions affect a project, we will assess the conditions and determine whether it is safe for our team to continue working.
Safety will always take priority over project timelines. If conditions are unsuitable for scaffolding erection, dismantling or other works, we will delay or rearrange the work until it can be carried out safely. We will communicate any delays with you or the site/project manager and work to rearrange the work as soon as conditions allow.
Q. Can You Work Alongside Other Contractors?
Yes, this is something we regularly do and is a normal part of many of our projects.
We coordinate with other trades and contractors throughout a project and take into account the different phases of a build when planning our involvement. This can involve reviewing plans and discussing the programme with the site or project manager to understand when access is required and when the scaffold needs to be erected, altered or removed.
Every project is different, but we regularly coordinate our work around multiple trades to ensure the scaffolding is available when required and works effectively with the wider project programme.
